About the Poet

Hi, this is R A Murphy. I'm a cartoonist by trade and passion.
Writing light verse and humorous poetry is a sometime thing for me. When the spirit does occasionally move me to take mouse and keyboard in hand, the outcome is seldom predictable and often painfully long in gestating.
Still, inspiration is inspiration and nothing to be ignored. So, in those rare moments when the lightning strikes, I come here and capture the not-so-immortal but hopefully-always-amusing concoctions my mind cooks up.
